Jabir Radi allahu anhu  se rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah Sal-Alalahu alaihi wasallam ne 300 sawar rawana kiye , hamare Ameer Abu Ubaidah Radi Allahu anhu they humko Quraish ke tijarati kafile ki harkat par nazar rakhni thi (phir khana khatam ho jane ki wajah se)  hum sakht bhookh ki halat mein they naubat yaha tak pahuch gayee ki hum Khabt (pattey) kha kar waqt guzarte they isee wajah se is lashkar ka naam jaish al Khabt padh gaya , uske baad samundar ne ek badi machli bahar pheki jisko An-Anbaer kahte hain humne usko aadhe mahine (15 din) tak khaya aur uski charbi tel ke taur par apne jism par malte rahe jis se hamare jism tandurast ho gaye , Abu Ubaidah Radi Allahu anhu ne bayan kiya ki uski ek pasli ki haddi lekar khadi ki to ( wo itni badi thi ki) ek sawar uske neeche se guzar gaya

Narrated Jabir Radi allahu anhu The Prophet (ﷺ) sent us as an army unit of three hundred warriors under the command of Abu 'Ubaida to ambush a caravan of the Quraish. But we were struck with such severe hunger that we ate the Khabt (bushes), so our army was called the Army of the Khabt. Then the sea threw a huge fish called Al-`Anbar and we ate of it for half a month and rubbed our bodies with its fat till our bodies became healthy. Then Abu Ubaida radi allahu anhu took one of its ribs and fixed it over the ground (it was that much big ) that a rider passed underneath it.
