Jabir bin Abdullah Radi alahu anhu se rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu alalahi wasallam aasman se wahi ke silsila ruk jane ka haal bayan farma rahe they ki main chal raha tha ki maine aasman ki taraf se aawaz suni maine apna sir upar uthaya to wahi farishta nazar aaya jo gaar e hira mein aaya tha , wo aasman aur zameen ke darmiyan kursi par baitha hua tha main uske daar se ghabra gaya aur ghar wapas aa gaya aur  kaha mujhe kapda odha do , mujhe kapda oda do , unhone mujhe kapda oda diya , phir Allah subhanahu ne ye aayat nazil farmayee YA Ayyuhal Muddassir...se wa arrujza fahjur , ye surah namaz farz kiye jaane se pahle nazil huyee thi , Rujz  ka matlab boot.

Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah Radi allahu anhu I heard the Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi wasallam describing the period of pause of the Divine Inspiration. He said in his talk, "While I was walking, I heard voices from the sky. I looked up, and behold! I saw the same Angel who came to me in the cave of Hira' sitting on a chair between the sky and the earth. I was too much afraid of him (so I returned to my house) and said , 'Fold me up in garments!' They wrapped me up. Then Allah revealed: 'YA AyyuhAl-Muddaththir (O you wrapped)...and desert the idols, before the prayer became compulsory.' Rujz means idols
