Abdullah bin masood Radi allahu anhu ne bayan kiya ki Rasool-Allah sal-alalahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya kisi shakhs ka ye kahna bahut bura hai ki main falah falah aayat bhul gaya bulki yu (kahna chahiye) ki mujhe falah aayat bhula di gayee, aur Quran majeed ko padhte raha karo kyunki insaano ke dilo se dur ho jane mein wo oont ke bhagne se bhi badh kar hai

Ibn Umar radi allahu anhuma se rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah sal-alalahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya Hafiz e Quran ki misal rassi se bandhe huye oont ke malik ki tarah hai agar wo uski nigrani rakhega (yani padhta rahega) to wo usey rok sakega warna wo rassi tod kar bhag jayega

Narrated Abdullah Radi Allahu anhu The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "It is a bad thing that some of you say, 'I have forgotten such-and-such verse of the Qur'an,' for indeed, he has been caused (by Allah) to forget it. So you must keep on reciting the Qur'an because it escapes from the hearts of men faster than camel do."

Narrated Ibn `Umar Radi allahu anhu Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The example of the person who knows the Qur'an by heart is like the owner of tied camels. If he keeps them tied, he will control them, but if he releases them, they will run away."
