قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏

الشَّهَادَةُ سَبْعٌ

سِوَى الْقَتْلِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

الْمَطْعُونُ شَهِيدٌ

وَالْمَبْطُونُ شَهِيدٌ 

وَالْغَرِيقُ شَهِيدٌ

وَصَاحِبُ الْهَدْمِ شَهِيدٌ

وَصَاحِبُ ذَاتِ الْجَنْبِ شَهِيدٌ

وَصَاحِبُ الْحَرَقِ شَهِيدٌ

وَالْمَرْأَةُ تَمُوتُ بِجُمْعٍ شَهِيدَةٌ ‏‏

Rasool-Allah Sallallahu Alalihi Wasallam ne farmaya Allah ki raah mein qatl hone ke alawa shahadat 7 qism ki hoti hai

jo shakhs taoon (plague) mein mar jaye wo shaheed hai,

jo shakhs pet ke marj se mar jaye wo shaheed hai,

jo shakhs paani mein doob kar mar jaye wo shaheed hai,

jo shakhs kisi imaarat mein dab kar mar jaye wo shaheed hai,

jo shakhs  zaat al-janab (ek tarah ki lungs ki beemari) mein mar jaye wo shaheed hai,

jo shakhs aag mein jal kar mar jaye wo shaheed hai,

jo aurat bachche ki wiladat ke waqt mar jaye wo shaheed hai,

The Messenger of Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said: "Martyrdom is of seven types besides being killed for the sake of Allah.

The one who dies of the plague is a martyr;

The one who dies of the Abdominal disease is a martyr;
The one who dies of the drowning is a martyr;

the one who is crushed by a falling building is a martyr;

the one who dies of pleurisy is a martyr;

the one who is burned to death is a martyr,

and the woman who dies in pregnancy is a martyr."
