Abu Dharr Radi Allahu Anhu se
rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam ne apney sahaba Radi Allahu Anhuma se ek din
farmaya kya tum ye jaante ho ki Suraj kahan jata hai ? unhone kaha ki Allah aur
uska Rasool khub janta hai , Aap Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya ye
chalta rahta hai yahan tak ki apne thaharne ki jagah yani Arsh ke neeche aa
jata hai aur wahan sazdey mein gir jata hai , phir isi haal mein rahta hai
yahan tak ki usey hukm hota hai uncha ho ja aur ja jahan se aaya hai , wo laut
aata hai aur apney nikalne ki jagah se nikalta hai aur phir chalta rahta hai
yahan tak ki apney thaharney ki jagah par arsh ke neeche aa jata hai aur sazda
karta hai phir isi haal mein rahta hai yahan tak ki usey kaha jata hai uncha ho
aur laut ja jahan se aaya hai aur phir wo nikalta hai apney nikalney ki jagah
se,.
Ek baar wo isi tarah chalega
aur logo ko uski chaal mein koi farq malum nahi hoga , yahan tak ki wo arsh ke
neechey apney thaharney ki jagah par aayega us waqt us sey kaha jayegha ki
uncha ho ja aur paschim ki taraf se nikal ja jidhar tu dubta hai wo niklega
paschim (maghrib) ki taraf se, Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya tum jaantey ho ye kab hoga ? ys us
waqt hoga jab kisi ko imaan lana faydemand nahi hoga jo pahley imaan na laya ho
ya usne imaan ke saath nek kaam na kiya ho.

It is narrated on the authority
of Abu Dharr that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) one day said:
Do you know where the sun goes? They replied: Allah and His Apostle know best.
He (the Holy Prophet) observed: Verily it (the sun) glides till it reaches its
resting place under the Throne. Then it falls prostrate and remains there until
it is asked: Rise up and go to the place whence you came, and it goes back and
continues emerging out from its rising place and then glides till it reaches
its place of rest under the Throne and fallsprostrate and remains in that state
until it is asked: Rise up and return to the place whence you came, and it
returns and emerges out from it rising place and the it glides (in such a
normal way) that the people do not discern anything ( unusual in it) till it
reaches its resting place under the Throne. Then it would be said to it: Rise
up and emerge out from the place of your setting, and it will rise from the
place of its setting. The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said. Do
you know when it would happen? It would happen at the time when faith will not
benefit one who has not previously believed or has derived no good from the
faith.
