✦ Anas Radi Allahu Anhu reported The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam as saying: Take suhur (meal a little before dawn), for there is a blessing in Suhur (taking meal at that time) The difference between our fasting and that of the people of the Book is suhur (eating shortly before dawn.)

✦ It was narrated that Abu Atiyyah said I said to Aishah Among us there are two of the Companions of the Prophet, one of whom hastens Iftar and delays Sahur, and the other delays Iftar and hastens Sahur.She said: Which of them is the one who hastens Iftar and delays Sahur? I said: Abdullah bin Masud. She said: that is what the Messenger of Allah used to do."

✦ It was narrated that Abu Dharr Radi Allahu Anhu said  the Messenger of Allah ﷺ  led us in praying Qiyam when there were three days left (means on 27 Ramazan) . He gathered his family and wives (and led us in prayer) until we feared that we would miss Al-Falah. I (one of the narrators) said: "What is Al-Falah?" He said: The suhur.
