Hazart Umar Radi Allahu Anhu se rivayat hai ki Maine Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu alaihi wasallam se kaha tha ki agar hum Muqam e Ibrahim ko namaz padhne ki jagah bana sakte to achcha hota is par Allah Subhanahu ne ye aayat nazil farmayee

وَاتَّخِذُوا مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى

Aur tum Muqam e ibrahim ko namaz padhne ki jagah bana lo (Surah Baqarah2:125)

Sahih Bukhari, Jild 1, 402 (part)

*Sabaq  : is hadith se humko hazrat Umar Radi Allahu Anhu ki shan aur unke martabe ka pata chalta hai, jinka mashwara Allah Subhanahu ko itna pasand aaya ki unke haq mein Quran nazil farma diya-SubhanAllah.*

Narrated Umar Radi Allahu Anhu I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), I wish we took the station of Ibrahim (Muqam e Ibrahim) as our praying place (for some of our prayers). So came the Divine Inspiration:

وَاتَّخِذُوا مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى

And take you (people) the station of Abraham as a place of prayer (two rak`at of Tawaf of Ka`ba). (Surah Baqara 2:125)

*Lesson : This hadith show us the dignity of Umar Radi Allahu Anhu , that he was such a great person that Allah Subhanahu Send Quranic verses in favor of his Advice. SubhanAllah*
