63hijri mein Abdullah bin hanzala Radi Allahu anhu aur kahin madeena wale Sahaba Radi allahu anhu yazeed ko dekhne gaye jab wo logo se apni khilafat ki bait le raha tha Madina ke iss wafd ne jayza liya to yazeed ko khilafat ke qabil nahi paya aur uski harkato se bezar ho Kar wapas Madina lote aur Abdullah bin Zubair Radi Allahu anhu ke haath par bait e khilafat Kar li Yazeed ko jab khaber huyee to usne Muslim bin uqba ko sardar bana Kar ek bada Lashkar rawana kar diya jisne Ahle Madina par bahut Zulm dhaye Senkhdo hazaron Sahaba radi allahu anhuma , tabaeen aur mardo , aurton aur bachon tak ko Qatl kiya ye hadsa harra nami ek maidan jo madina main hai hua islye uski tarf mansub hua

Narrated Said bin Al-Musaiyab When the first civil strife (in Islam) took place because of the murder of 'Uthman Radi Allahu Anhu, it left none of the Badr warriors alive. When the second civil strife, that is the battle of Al-Harra, took place, it left none of the Hudaibiya treaty companions alive. Then the third civil strife took place and it did not subside till it had exhausted all the strength of the people.

Explanation : The Battle of harra took place in 63 Hijri , When Yazeed was taking pledge in syria for his khilafah , Abdullah bin Hanzala Radi Allahu anhu and some companions went to enquire yazeed wheather he fulfill the Qualities of the caliph or not , after enquiring they came to know that yazeed doest not deserve to be caliph so they came back to madina and give pledge to the Abdullah bin Zubair Radi Allahu anhu , when yazeed came to know about this he sent a big army to attack on madina , muslim bin uqba was the commander of that army , they attacked in madina and killed many of companions and women and children, this incident took place in the place harra in madina so its called the Battle of harra.
