It has been narratd by ibn ishaq that the Companions of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: O Messenger of Allaah, tell us about yourself. He said: I am the answer to the prayer of the father Ibraaheem Alaihi salam, and the glad tidings of Eesa Alaihi salam, and when my mother became pregnant with me, she saw something as if a light came out of her and illuminated the palaces of Busra in the land of Syria.
