Uqba bin aamir Radi allahu anhu se rivayat hai ki RasoolAllah ﷺ  ne farmaya jo shakhs taweez pahne  Allah subhanahu us ke irade ko pura na farmaye aur jo samundar ki seep (sea sheel) pahne Allah subhanahu usko sukun ata na farmaye.

*قال رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ تَعَلَّقَ تَمِيمَةً فَلَا أَتَمَّ اللَّهُ لَهُ وَمَنْ تَعَلَّقَ وَدَعَةً فَلَا وَدَعَ اللَّهُ لَهُ*

Narrated by Uqba biun Aamir Radi Allahu anhu that  RasoolAllah ﷺ said Whoever wears an amulet, may Allah not fulfil his need, and whoever wears a sea-shell, may Allah not give him peace.
