Note : Sawal ye nahi tha ki kis kis ko chuna tha , sawal ye tha ki kis kis ke khandan ko chuna tha isliye Adam alaihi salam aur Nooh alaihi inmein shamil nahi hain kyunki Allah ne unhe chuna tha unke khandan ko nahi.

Khandan e Ibrahim Alaihi salam  Ko Allah Subhanahu ne Alaa Maqam Inayat farmayee isee Khandan Mai Sayyad ul bashar Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam hain aur dusra  Imran Alaihi salam Ke khandan ko bhi isee Mai Shamil Kar liya jo ki Maryam Alaihi salam ke Walid they

Note : That was not the question to whom Allah chose ? 

the exact question was to which family Allah chose ?  so ans will not include the Adam alaihi salam and Nooh alaihi salam because Allah chose both pof them not to their family.

Explanation : Tafsir Ibn Kathir

*The Chosen Ones Among the People of the Earth*

Allah chose Adam, created him with His Hand and blew life into him. Allah commanded the angels to prostrate before Adam, taught him the names of everything and allowed him to dwell in Paradise, but then sent him down from it out of His wisdom. 

Allah chose Nuh and made him the first Messenger to the people of the earth, when the people worshipped idols and associated others with Allah in worship.

Allah also chose the *family of Ibrahim alaihi salam*, including the master of all mankind, and the Final Prophet, Muhammad, peace be upon him who was from the family of Ibrahim Alaihi salam.

Allah also chose the *family of Imran, the father of Marym Alaihi salam*.
