Jab Adam Alaihi Salam jannat se aaye to unke saath gandum (gehu) ki ek thaili(bag) thi aur ek rivayat mein hai ki wo Jibril alaihi salam laye they, jab adam alaihi salam ko bhukh lagi aur unhone apne RAB se khana maanga to jibril alaihi salam ne us thaili mein se 7 daane nikal kar Adam alaihi salam ki hatheli par rakh diye , Adam Alaihi salam ne pucha ki ye kya hai, Jibril alaihi salam ne jawab diya ye wahi hai jo aapko jannat se nikalne ka sabab bane they. Adam alaihi salam ne kaha ki main in dano ka kya karu , Jibril alaihi salam ne kaha isko zameen mein phaila do , Adam alaihi salam ne aisa hi kiya aur phir Allah subhanahu ne ek ghadi mein usko uga diya aur kheti ugane ka ye tareeqa unki aulad mein bhi jari raha.

It has been said that among the things Adam Alaihi salam took out from Paradise, there was a bag with grains of wheat, but, according to another statement, Gabriel (Jibril Alaihi Salam) brought wheat to Adam when he became hungry and asked his Lord for food, whereupon ALLAH sent him seven grains of wheat with Gabriel. When Gabriel put them in Adam's hand, Adam asked him what it was, and Gabriel said to him: This is what drove you out of Paradise.When Adam asked Gabriel what he should do with them, Gabriel told him to spread them in the soil, and Adam did, whereupon God immediately made them grow. Thus, putting seeds into the soil became the custom among Adam's children.
