✦ Aws bin Aws Radi Allahu Anhu se rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi wasallam ne farmaya jo shakhs juma ke din (apni biwi ko) gusal karwaye (yani uske saath sohbat karke) aur khud bhi gusal kare phir namaz ke liye jaldi jaye , paidal jaye aur sawar hokar na jaye aur imam ke nazdeek hokar khutba suney aur behuda baat na kare to uske har qadam par usko ek saal ke roze aur ek saal (Namaz ke liye) qayam karne ka sawab milega

✦ Narrated Aws ibn Aws ath-Thaqafi I heard the apostle of Allah (ﷺ) say: If anyone makes (his wife) bath (means had intercourse with her) and he also takes bathe (performs Ghusl) himself on Friday, goes out early (for Friday prayer), attends the sermon from the beginning, walking, not riding, takes his seat near the imam, listens attentively, and does not indulge in idle talk, he will get the reward of a year's fasting and praying at night for every step he takes.
