Al Quran : Jo Log apni biwiyon ko maa kah dete hain phir apne qaul se ruju kar le to (unko) hum bistar hone se pahle ek gulam aad karna (jaruri) hai, Momeeno is hukm se tumko naseehat ki jati hai aur jo kuch tum karte ho Allah subhanahu us se khabardar hai. Jisko Gulam na mile wo (mard) ek dusro ko chune se pahle 2 mahine ke lagatar roze rakhe ,aur jo koi aisa bhi kar sake to 60 miskeeno ko khana khilaye,ye isliye ki tum Allah aur uske Rasool par imaan lao aur ye Allah ki hadein hain aur na manne walo ke liye dardnak azab hai
Surah Mujadila , Aayat 3-4

Al Quran : And those who make unlawful to them their wives by Zihar (by saying mother to his wife) and wish to free themselves from what they uttered, (the penalty) in that case is the freeing of a slave before they touch each other. That is an admonition to you (so that you may not repeat such an ill thing). And Allah is All-Aware of what you do. And he who finds not (the money for freeing a slave) must fast two successive months before they both touch each other. And he who is unable to do so, should feed sixty Miskins (poor). That is in order that you may have perfect Faith in Allah and His Messenger. These are the limits set by Allah. And for disbelievers, there is a painful torment.
