Aur hum ne Firouniyon ko Qahato aur Mewon ke nuqsaan mein pakda taaki nasihat hasil karein to jab unko aasaayish hasil hoti to kahte hain ki hum uske mustahiq hain aur agar sakhti pahuchti to Moosa aur unke rafeeqon ki badshagooni batate dekho unki badshagooni Allah ke yahan muqarrar hai lekin unmein aksar nahi jaante.Wo kahne lagte tum humare paas koi nishaani laao taake ussey hum par jaadu karo.Magar hum tum par Imaan laane wale nahi hain, *To hum ne unpar Toofaan aur tiddiyaan aur jooyein aur Mendak aur khoon ki khuli huyi nishaaniyaan bheji* magar wo takabbur hi karte rahe aur wo log they hi Gunahgaar
Surah Al-Aaraf (7), Aayat 130-132

Abu Raja Al-Utradi Radi Allahu Anhu farmate hai ham pehle pattar ki puja karte they aur agar koi pattar hame us se achcha mil jata toh us say phenk dete aur dusre ki puja shuru kar dete agar hame pattar na milta toh mitta ka ek tela bana lete aur bakri laa lar us par dohte aur uske gird tawaf karte

Al Quran : And indeed We punished the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) with years of drought and shortness of fruits (crops), that they might remember (take heed).But whenever good came to them, they said: "Ours is this." And if evil afflicted them, they ascribed it to evil omens connected with Musa (Moses) and those with him. Be informed! Verily, their evil omens are with Allah but most of them know not.They said [to Musa (Moses)]: "Whatever Ayat you may bring to us, to work therewith your sorcery on us, we shall never believe in you. So We sent on them: the flood, the locusts, the lice, the frogs, and the blood (as a succession of) manifest signs, yet they remained arrogant, and they were of those people who were Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners). 
*Surah Al-Aaraf (7), Aayat 130-132*

Narrated Abu Raja Al-Utaridi Radi Allahu Anhu We used to worship stones, and when we found a better stone than the first one, we would throw the first one and take the latter, but if we could not get a stone then we would collect some earth (i.e. soil) and then bring a sheep and milk that sheep over it, and perform the Tawaf around it.
