✦ Al Quran : Allah aasmano aur zameen ka noor hai , uske noor ki misal aisee hai jaise ek taaq hai jismein *CHIRAG* hai, aur wo chirag *SHEESHE* ki qandil mein ho , aur wo qandil aisee hai jaise ki moti ki tarah chamakta hua *SITARA* ho , usmein ek mubarak darakht *ZAITUN* ka *TEL* roshan kiya jata hai , na *MASHRIQ* ki taraf hai aur na *MAGHRIB* ki taraf ,Aisa malum hota hai ki us(chirag) ka tel agar aag na bhi chuye to bhi roshan hone ko tayyar hai, Noorun-Ala-Noor ( Roshni ke upar roshni) ,Allah apne Noor se jisko chahta hai seedhi raah dkhta hai , aur Allah (jo misalein) bayan farmata hai (to ) logo ko (samjhane ke) liye aur Allah har cheez se waqif hai
Surah An-Noor (24) Aayat 35

الله آسمانوں اور زمین کا نور ہے۔ اس کے نور کی مثال ایسی ہے کہ گویا ایک طاق ہے جس میں چراغ ہے۔ اور چراغ ایک قندیل میں ہے۔ اور قندیل (ایسی صاف شفاف ہے کہ) گویا موتی کا سا چمکتا ہوا ستارا ہے اس میں ایک مبارک درخت کا تیل جلایا جاتا ہے (یعنی) زیتون کہ نہ مشرق کی طرف ہے نہ مغرب کی طرف۔ (ایسا معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ) اس کا تیل خواہ آگ اسے نہ بھی چھوئے جلنے کو تیار ہے (پڑی) روشنی پر روشنی (ہو رہی ہے) الله اپنے نور سے جس کو چاہتا ہے سیدھی راہ دکھاتا ہے۔ اور الله نے (جو مثالیں) بیان فرماتا ہے (تو) لوگوں کے (سمجھانے کے) لئے اور خدا ہر چیز سے واقف ہے

✦ Al Quran : Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His Light is as (if there were) a *NICHE* and within it a *LAMP* : the lamp is in a glass, the *GLASS* as it were a brilliant *STAR*, lit from a blessed tree, an *OLIVE*, neither of the *EAST* (i.e. neither it gets sun-rays only in the morning) nor of the *WEST* (i.e. nor it gets sun-rays only in the afternoon, but it is exposed to the sun all day long), whose *OIL* would almost glow forth (of itself), though no fire touched it. Light upon Light! Allah guides to His Light whom He wills. And Allah sets forth parables for mankind, and Allah is All-Knower of everything.
