أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

            وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِدْرِيسَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَّبِيًّا     

            وَرَفَعْنَاهُ مَكَانًا عَلِيًّا

(Tarjuma: Aur kitab (Quran) mein idris alaihi salam ka bhi zikr kijiye, wo bhi sachche nabee they aur humne unko unche muqam par utha liya tha -(Surah Maryam (19), Aayat 56-57))

Ibn Jarir Radi Allahu Anhu  se rivayat hai ki Ibn Abbas Radi Allahu Anhu  ne Kaab Radi Allahu Anhu  se sawal kiya ki is aayat(Surah Maryam, Aayat 56-57) ka matlab kya hai to unhone farmaya ki Hazrat idris alaihi salam ke pass wahi aayee thi ki jitni aadam alaihi salam aulad hain un sabke neik aamal ke barabar sirf aapke akele ke neik aamal main roz apni taraf chadhata hu, is par aapko khayal aaya ki Aap aamal mein aur sabqat kar le, jab aapke paas aapka dost farishta aaya to aapne us se zikr kiya ki mere paas is tarah wahi aayee hai isliye tum malik al maut se kaho ki wo meri maut mein takhair kare taaki main neik aamal mein aur badh jauu is farishte ne aapko apne paro par bithaya aur aasmano ki taraf le gaya , jab chothey aasman par aap pahuche to Malik Al maut ko dekha , waha farishte ne unse sifarish ki , to malik Al maut ne farmaya wo kaha hain to farishte ne kaha ye mere paro mein baithey huye hain, malik al maut ne kaha subhanAllah mujhe chothey aasman par unki rooh qabr karne ka hukm hua tha ,aur mujhe hairat ho rahi thi ki chothey aasman par unki rooh mein kaise qabrz karunga jabki wo to zameen par rahte hain , aur  phir usee waqt unki rooh qabz kar li gayee , ibn abbas Radi Allahu Anhu  ne farmaya ki idris alaihi salam darji they aur suyee (needle) ke har ek taanke par SubhanAllah kahte isliye sham ko unse zyada neik aamal aasmano mein kisi ke nahi chadhte they

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

            وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِدْرِيسَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَّبِيًّا     

            وَرَفَعْنَاهُ مَكَانًا عَلِيًّا

Al Quran : And mention in the Book (the Quran) Idris (Alaihi salam).Verily he was a man of truth, (and) a Prophet. And We raised him to a high station         
Surah Maryam (19), Aayat 56-57

Ibn Jarir Radi Allahu Anhu narrated from Hilal bin Yasaf, saying: Ibn 'Abbas Radi Allahu Anhu  asked Ka'b Radi Allahu Anhu   while I was present there: "What it meant when Allah said: 'And We raised him high in the heaven'?  Kaab Radi Allahu Anhu replied: "Allah revealed to IDRIS Alaihi salam 'I would raise for you every day the same amount of the deeds as of all Adam's children' - perhaps meaning of his time only.  So IDRIS Alaihi salam wanted to increase his deeds and devotion. A friend of him from angels visited him and IDRIS Alaihi salam said to him: 'Allah has revealed to me such and such, so could you please speak to the angel of death, so I could increase my deeds.'  The angel carried him on his wings and went up into the heaven.  When it was the fourth heaven, they met the angel of death, who was descending down to the earth.  The angel spoke to him, about what IDRIS Alaihi salam had spoken to him before.  The angel of death said: 'But where is IDRIS alaihi salam?' He replied" 'He is upon my back.' The angel of death said: 'How astonishing! I was sent and told to seize his soul in the fourth heaven.  I kept thinking how I could seize it in the fourth heaven when he was on the earth?'  Then he took his soul there out of his body, and that is what is meant in this Verse: 'And We raised him high in the heaven'."
