Abu Usaid, Malik bin Rabi'ah Radi Allahu anhu se rivayat hai ki Hum RasoolAllah SallAllahu Alaihi Waslalam  ke paas Moujood they itne me Qabeela e Bani Salma ka ek shakhs haazir huaa, aur usne arz kiya Ya RasoolAllah SallAllahu Alaihi Waslalam Kya mere walidain ke Nekiyon me se koi Neki aisee baaqi hai ke unki wafat ke baad mai unke liye kar saku ? Toh Aap SallAllahu Alaihi Waslalam ne farmaya Haan unke janaze ki namaz padhna , unke liye Dua aur Astagfar karna, aur unki wafat ke baad unke wadon ko pura karna, aur unke doston ki ezzat o takreem karna, aur unke rishton ko jodna jinka talluq unhi ki wajeh se hai

It was narrated that Abu Usaid, Malik bin Rabi'ah, said: "While we were with the Prophet(ﷺ), a man from the Banu Salamah came to him and said: " O messenger of Allah, is there anyway of honoring my parents that I can still do for them after they die?' He said: "Yes offering the funeral prayer for them, praying for forgiveness for them, fulfilling their promises after their death, honoring their freinds and upholding the ties of kinship which you would not have were it nor for them.'"
