Jabir Radi Allahu Anhu se rivayat hai ke Jab Rasool-Allah Sallallahu Alahihi Wasallam ( Ghazwa e Tabook ke safar ke dauraan Qaum e Samood ke Shehar) Hijr ke paas se guzre to farmaya Mojizaat ki tarah ki Nishaniyoun ka mutaliba na kiya karo , Saleh Alaihi Salam ki Qaum ne aisee hi nishaniyo ke baare me Sawaal kiya tha (aur unke pas ootni ki soorat me unka ye mutaliba poora kiya gaya), wo ek raaste se aati thi aur doosre raaste se nikal jaati thi , lekin unhone sarkashi ki aur uski koonchein (pair) kaat diye , wo ek din me unka paani piti thi aur wo log ek din me uska doodh pite the , lekin unhone ne uske pair kaat diye , iss wajeh se ek Cheekh un par chaa gayi aur Allah Subhanahu ne Aasman ki Nichli Sateh ke Neeche wale un sab ko Halaak kardiya , sirf Ek Aadmi bacha , wo Allah Subhanahu ke Haram me tha. Kisi ne kaha Ya Rasool-Allah Sallellahu Alahihi Wasallam wo Aadmi koun tha ? to Aap Sallallahu  Alahihi Wasallam ne farmaya  wo Abu Raghaal tha jab Haram se Nikla toh wo bhi usee Musibat (Azab) me mubtala ho gaya , jisme uski Qaum mubtala huyi thi

Narrated by Jabir Radi Allahu Anhu,  during the battle of Tabuk,  Rasool-Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam passed by the city of the people of samood and said dont ask the signs like miracle, The people of Saleh Alaihi salam asked the same kind of signs and their wish was fulfilled by a She camel , who used to come from one way and go from another way , but they crossed the limits and cut her legs , she used to drink therir whole water in one day and on another day they used to drink her milk, yet they cut their legs and after that they were punished by the shout  and Allah destroyed all the people except one , because he was in the Haram of Allah , somebody asked Ya Rasool-Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam who was that person, Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said his name was Abu Raghal , when he came out from the haram he also got punished by the same punishment in which the people of his city was got punished.
