Hushain bin hayyan se rivayat hai ki  Zaid radi allahu anhuma ne kaha  ki ek din Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu alaihi wasallam khutba sunane ke liye khade huye

aur farmaya main tumhare beech do bhari cheezein chorh kar ja raha huek to ALlah ki kitab hai jismein hidayat aur noor hai to Allah ki kitab ko thame raho aur isko mazbuti se pakde raho aur dusri cheez mere ahl-e-bait hain main ALlah ki yaad dilata hu tumhe mere ahl-e-bait ke mutalliq , hussain ne kaha Ahl-e-bait kaun hain eh zaid ?

Kya Aap Sal-Allahu alaihi wasallam ki biwiya ahl-e-bait nahi hain ?

Zaid radi allahu anhu ne kaha ki biwiya bhi ahl-e-bait mein dakhil hain magar Ahl-e-bait wo hain jin par zakat haram hai

Hushain ne kaha ki wo kaun log hain ? Zaid ne kaha ki

Wo Ali  aur Aqil aur jafar aur Abbas radi allahu anhuma ki auladein hain

phir Hushain ne pucha ki in sab par sadqa haram hai to zaid radi allahu ne kaha HAAN

Narrated by Hussain bin hayyan that Zaid radi allahu anhuma said One day Prophet Sal-Allahu alaihi wasallam stood up to deliver sermon  and  said  I am leaving among you two weighty things: the one being the Book of Allah in which there is right guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and adhere to it. He exhorted (us) (to hold fast) to the Book of Allah and then said: The second are the members of my household (Ahl-e-bait) I remind you (of your duties) to the members of my family. He (Husain) said to Zaid: Who are the members of his household (Ahl-e-bait)? Aren't his wives the members of his family?

Thereupon he said: His wives are the members of his family (but here) the members of his family are those for whom acceptance of Zakat is forbidden.

And he said: Who are they? Thereupon he said:

Ali and the offspring of Ali,

Aqil and the offspring of Aqil

and the offspring of Ja'far

and the offspring of Abbas.

Husain said: These are those for whom the acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. Zaid said: Yes.
