Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaye usne Taweez latkaya hua hai, usne apna haath dal Kar usse tod diya, tab Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne ussey bait li aur farmaye Jis Shaks ne Taweez latkaya Usne Shirk Kiya
Al-Silsila-As-Sahiha Hadees # 2961

 عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ  ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وآلہ ‌وسلم ‌أَقْبَلَ إِلَيْهِ رَهْطٌ فَبَايَعَ تِسْعَةً وَأَمْسَكَ عَنْ وَاحِدٍ فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ! بَايَعْتَ تِسْعَةً وَتَرَكْتَ هَذَا؟ قَالَ: إِنَّ عَلَيْهِ تَمِيمَةً فَأَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فَقَطَعَهَا فَبَايَعَهُ وَقَالَ: مَنْ عَلَّقَ تَمِيمَةً فَقَدْ أَشْرَكَ.

Narrated by Uqba bin Amir  radi allahu anhu that a group of (ten) people came to the Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam to make a religious pledge (Bait).Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam accepted the pledge from nine of the groups and left one out. The companions asked the Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam, why he did not accept the pledge of the one who was left out. He said I did not make Bait with him because he was wearing a Talisman." 
On hearing this that person drew the Talisman, out and destroyed it. Thereafter, the Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam accepted his pledge (bait) and said whoever wears a talisman, he associates partners with Allah (i.e. he practices Shirk).
