وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ إِنَّكُمْ ظَلَمْتُمْ أَنفُسَكُم بِاتِّخَاذِكُمُ الْعِجْلَ فَتُوبُوا إِلَىٰ بَارِئِكُمْ فَاقْتُلُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ ذَ‌ٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ عِندَ بَارِئِكُمْ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ

إِنَّهُ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ

Aur jab Musa alaihi salam ne apni qaum ke logon se kaha ki bhaeeyo tumne bachde ko (mabud) thahrane mein(bada) zulm kiya hai, to apne paida karne wale ke aage tauba karo aur apne aapko Qatl karo ( yani jo begunah hai wo shirk karne walo qatl kare) tumhare khaliq ke nazdeek tumhare haq mein yahi behtar hai, phir usne tumhari tauba qubul ki, wo beshak maaf karne wala hai

Al Quran , Surah Baqarah (2) Verse 54

And (remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his people O my people! Verily, you have wronged yourselves by worshipping the calf. So turn in repentance to your Creator and kill yourselves (the innocent kill the wrongdoers among you), that will be better for you with your Creator. Then He accepted your repentance. Truly, He is the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.

Al Quran , Surah Baqarah (2) Verse 54
